• On the 11th September 2010 Sandon Point board riders will be hosting the annual charity single fin comp.

• All proceeds this year will be donated to the Joanne Mackay Foundation. The foundation set up by Brad and Joanne to help women living with breast cancer, its provides grass roots level help to breast cancer victims and their families.

• During the day there will be celebrity heat involving footy legends Brad Mackay, Rod Wishart, Shaun Timmins, Trent Barrett along with former world tour competitor Mick Lowe .

• Starting at 7.00 a.m. at Sandon Point, surfers pay an entry fee $50 to compete with some great prizes on offer. Musicians and local businesses have rallied to support this community charity fundraiser.

• Bring something to sit on and witness surfing of yesteryear whilst listening to some talented local musicians. Dave Ford south coast legend board collector will be bringing some of his collection along for you to look over. The man is a walking history book on boards, shapers and manufacturers. Come try and stump him with a question?
