You have a targeted audience of around 4,000 unique visitors and an average of 8,000 visitors to the site every month. This visitor number is doubling every 6 months. Most of these visitors come back to the site many times during the month and they are mostly all local, though my national and international visitor rates are also climbing. Currently the site is averaging around 800,000 hits per month which varies dependant on swell frequency. The hit rate peaked in May 2010 with 1.3 million hits, a month with lots of great waves.

I currently only charge $5 to list your item for up to one month. An advert in the Mercury costs 4 times as much and adding photos more than doubles that price again. It also keeps that advertising revenue in the local community and helps ensure this site can be viable.
